Conciertos de navidad Martes 23 de Diciembre Tendrá lugar el Concierto de Navidad en la parroquia de Santa Ana de Manilva a cargo de la Banda Municipal y de la Coral Santa Ana de Manilva. Al acto podrán asistir todos los que lo deseen a partir de las 20h (Después de la Celebración de la Santa Misa).
Sábado 27 de Diciembre Se celebrará el Concierto de Navidad a cargo del Coro Municipal de Sabinillas en la Iglesia de San Luís, a partir de las 20:30 h, tras la celebración De la Santa Misa. Podrán disfrutarlo todos los vecinos que lo deseen.
Saturday, 27th December This evening it is the turn of Sabinillas to host a Christmas concert which will be held in the Iglesia de San Luis church in the village. The concert will be presented by Sabinillas Municipal Choir starting at 8.30 pm. Once again all are welcome. There will also be a holy mass.
Concurso de belenes 26 De Diciembre La Delegación de Cultura ha organizado un Concurso de Belenes para todo el periodo navideño. Se podrán inscribir todos los vecinos que lo deseen: Sabinillas: Usos Múltiples 952 893 838. Manilva: delegación de Cultura 952 893 092 El Castillo: Monumento del Castillo 952 893 206 Los datos que deberán dar para la inscripción son nombre, teléfono y dirección.
Una vez finalizado el plazo, un jurado, formado por responsables de esta área, se pasará por los domicilios inscritos valorando el montaje, originalidad y presentación de los distintos belenes. Habrá premios para los 3 mejores Belenes con 300, 200 y 100 euros respectivamente. Los premios se entregarán el día 2 de Enero en la entrega de Cartas a Los Reyes Magos de Oriente.
Lunes 5 enero - La alegría y diversión para pequeños y mayores está asegurada con el desfile de Carrozas y Pasacalles. Sus Majestades los Reyes Magos de Oriente acompañados por
los Pages Reales comenzarán su recorrido por las calles de nuestra localidad a partir de las 18:00 h. Castillo de la Duquesa 18:00 h. Sabinillas 18:30 h. Manilva 19:30 h.
This year’s Cabalgata de Los Reyes, or the Three Kings Cavalcade, organised by Manilva’s Fiestas Department is on the 5th January. The cavalcade starts in Castillo at around 6 pm, before transferring to Sabinillas, at about 6.30 pm (timings are always approximate!) and finally wends its way up to Manilva at about 7.30 pm. The cavalcade normally consists of three floats, each of which carries one of the ‘Kings’ and his entourage, there are also various
performers, musicians, etc. As the procession wends its way through the streets the Kings and co. hurl sweets into the attendant crowd of children and adults, as you can imagine it’s everyone for themselves and you will see most of the children coming away with bags full of ‘caramelos’. One thing to remember is to watch out for the parking restrictions posted on the lamp posts on the procession route. You will be towed away if you ignore them.

Christmas concerts Tuesday, 23rd December A Christmas concert will be held in Manilva’s Santa Ana church, presented by the Manilva Town Band and the Santa Ana Choir. The concert starts at 8.00 am and all are welcome. The will also be a celebration of holy mass.
Gran Cabalgata de Los Reyes Magos de Oriente
Entries will be judged on the 26th December by a jury formed from members of the Culture Department who will visit the locations of the nativity scenes which will be judged on originality, construction, and presentation. The top three will receive prizes of 300, 200 and 100 euros respectively. These prizes will be awarded on Friday 2nd January.

Cena de la Comunidad Extranjera Restaurante Brown’s puerto de La Duquesa a partir 20:00 horas La Concejalía de Extranjeros del Ayuntamiento de Manilva ha organizado para el viernes 19 de diciembre una cena de hermandad para todos aquellos vecinos de nacionalidad extranjera que deseen acudir.
